Fanatically Upset

Is it really that difficult to find a good atmosphere and a good place to have a drink with friends? I guess so. I had the worst time I’ve had in a long time at Fanatics. If you’re looking for over priced beer and a wait staff that will constantly nag you --- by all means this place is where you should go.

But I hate it when I’m constantly being asked if my friends will be arriving. I told you once, twice, thrice --- yes they’re coming.

I received my beer just fine but my gentleman friend had asked for a tap Octoberfest beer that the waitress, Robyn, had informed us was on tab. She came back to tell us that in actuality they no longer had his requested Octoberfest however if he’d like a Sprecher Amber they could do that. He received a bottle, not a tapped beer. What a disappointment.

Their website and resent reviews make this place sound like it’s “higher end.” NOT! It was just as bad as any other sports bar. I wasn’t able to order food, but I don’t think I was missing anything. I called my friends to tell them we should go somewhere else. The stares and the constant questioning from the wait staff every 5 minutes was enough for me to leave their establishment and never come back.

Oh and what’s worse, when I finally flagged down a brunette woman with curly hair to get the bill, so I could get out of the awful place, the woman looked at me but didn’t listen to one word I said. She cut me off mid-sentence and asked if she could take the joining tables next to me. What!? Didn’t you hear me!? I asked for my bill.

It was awful. I don’t recommend Fanatics to anyone.
